Shows I will be at in 2020

The UK has a booming show scene and there are shows all over the country. I try and get to as many shows as I can but there is only so much one person can do and it isn't guaranteed that you get into every show you apply for!

In 2019 you can find me at

April 18th & 19th - Spring Into Wool, Leeds - POSTPONED - see you in 2021

I had to miss SiW last year but am super happy to be back at what is always a great show :) The cafeteria here is amazing and caters for all dietary requirements. It even had snacking olives last time I went, not bad for a school!

May 16th & 17th - Wool @ J13, Penkridge - POSTPONED

This is my most local show, it is almost walkable from my house so I couldn't fail to support it and am happy to be returning for my 3rd year at J13. This show has a festival vibe and the farm is open for the weekend too so if you are bringing your children there are other things to do besides yarn shopping and ogling - this year they are building a brand new soft play area too! There is always a range of food outlets too so no one will go hungry!

June 13th & 14th - The Wool Monty, Sheffield - POSTPONED, see you in 2021

Wool Monty is now in it's second year and  I am really hoping it will be a successful one, I love this show - the arena makes for a super spacious venue with wide aisles and millions of toilets! If you haven't been pursuaded to visit yet, will the fact that there is Taco BEll within walking distance make any difference?? Organised by the team from Woolfull, Wool Monty promises to be a riot of colour and fun!

July 11th & 12th - Yarningham, Birmingham - POSTPONED, see you in 2021

I have a soft spot for Yarningham, the first ever Yarningham was my first ever show and this year I will be going back for the 5th Yarningham, and the 3rd in the new venue at Uffculme. The grounds are beautiful and it is lovely to be able to get outside and take in the sun!

July 25th & 26th - Fibre East, Ampthill, Beds - POSTPONED, see you in 2021

2019 was my first time at Fibre East but i am delighted to be returning in 2020 for the 10th birthday celebrations!

 September 5th & 6th - Southern Wool Show, Newbury

Bought to you b y the same team as Spring Into Wool in Leeds what could be better than loads of parking, a super venue and somewhere easily accessbile by public transport? I know that there are lots of new things planned for this year's SWS so I woul definitely pop along for a visit!

September 26th & 27th - Yarndale, Skipton

I'm not sure anything needs to be said about Yarndale, a one off kind of show in a cattle market. Super busy and generally great fun :)
